QPR boss Neil Warnock believes new signing Kieron Dyer can replace want-away star Adel Taarabt.
Taarabt is on the brink of moving to PSG this week.
West Ham United crock Dyer has signed a one-year pay-as-you-play deal with the Hoops.
Warnock said: "Kieron's pace would be ideal for that role, and in truth, with all the speculation - I thought Adel might be moving.
"He's keen to get started again, and so for the time being I have two excellent players who can fill the gap."
