QPR boss Neil Warnock is confident signing Manchester City winger Shaun Wright-Phillips.

Wright-Phillips is ready to join QPR after speaking to former Manchester City teammate Barton.

Manager Neil Warnock said: "I think Joey has spoken to him (Wright-Phillips), they were room mates at Man City.

"I think the big draw is going back to London. His mum is down there, he's got a house there."
