QPR boss Harry Redknapp has welcomed news of new training facilities set to be built.
Despite being on the verge of an embarrassing relegation, Redknapp sees reasons for optimism regarding the club's future.
"The new training ground is a great bonus," said Redknapp of the new facility, which QPR hope to move in to in two years' time.
"It shows you the club is forward-thinking.
"They're not going to roll over and die. They want to have a great season next season. If we get promoted if could be a great season.
"That pitch is not made for good football now. If I want to kick the ball up the pitch all day I'd be quite happy to have a terrible pitch, but I want to provide a team that plays football."
