Redknapp says the race for Champions League places is wide open.
He wrote in The Sun: "Everyone not directly involved in the race for fourth would no doubt have a soft spot for Everton.
"That is one of our old fashioned, more traditional English clubs - one of the few remaining in our country if we're honest.
"The manager David Moyes has done a superb and steady job building a team over the years.
"There is a good chairman there in Bill Kenwright and Moyes has established himself as a powerful figure at the club - winning the trust of the people above - and it's paying off.
"As a result Everton have a solid team, which is difficult to beat, awkward to break down but with goals in it."
