QPR boss Harry Redknapp has challenged Armand Traore to prove himself over the Christmas period.
The Senegalese star has not started a game since the defeat to West Ham at the beginning of October.
Redknapp said: "It's up to Armand Traore to step up to the plate. He's got to push himself to do that, start performing and get in the team. He's got an opportunity if he wants to take it.
"We've lost our left-back so Clint Hill is not going to play two games either. He's a fit lad, but it's not easy when you're 35 or 36."
