QPR boss Redknapp struggling to land January targets

QPR boss Harry Redknapp admits he's struggling to land his January transfer targets.

So far he has been unable to add to Loic Remy's signature - with Rennes midfielder Yann M'Vila picking Russian side Rubin Kazan over the Hoops.

Redknapp, 65, said: "This week I have been out flying everywhere.

"I haven't been home for about 12 days and my wife said to me: 'I have forgotten what you like'. I said: 'I look like Paul Newman', and she replied: 'In my dreams'.

"It has been exhausting. It's all right if you're 35 but not at my age. We have to improve the squad.

"You have to convince the players they are going to come here and we are going to give it a real go.

"I say to them it will be a real challenge to keep the team in the Premier League and if you come here I think we can do it.

"It's up to the player if he fancies it or not."
