QPR boss Harry Redknapp has slated the quality of England's World Cup squad. Redknapp says Chelsea defender Gary Cahill and Everton's Phil Jagielka are England's weakest links as he claimed their best hope of beating Uruguay is if Luis Suarez does not play.
Redknapp said: "?I've heard a few people say that this is the best England side we've had in recent years, but that's nonsense.
"It's a good side, but no disrespect to Phil Jagielka and Gary Cahill, they're not in the same league as John Terry and Rio Ferdinand when they were in their prime. We had a stronger side in South Africa.
"The selection that matters most for Roy Hodgson on Thursday is one that's out of his hands. If Luis Suarez doesn't play I think Uruguay have got no chance of beating us."
