QPR boss Harry Redknapp hailed Christopher Samba for his debut in their 0-0 draw with Norwich City.

Samba, who joined the club this week for £12.5million, had not played since last November but helped his new side to their sixth clean sheet of the season.

Redknapp said: "We asked how he was and he said about 40 per cent fit. If that's 40 per cent, I don't know what he'll be like at 100 per cent. He was fantastic."
