QPR boss Harry Redknapp has ruled out a loan move for Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor.

Adebayor was claimed to have visited Loftus Road in midweek.

Asked whether the Togo international had come to see his team at Wigan in midweek, Redknapp said: "I wouldn't think there's a lot of chance getting him up to Wigan on a wet, windy and cold Wednesday night. I would think he's probably had somewhere better to go.

"He's not coming here, no chance."
