QPR boss Harry Redknapp remains keen on a reunion with Hamburg SV midfielder Rafael van der Vaart.
The Sunday Mirror says after the signing of his one-time West Ham protégé Rio Ferdinand, Redknapp has been in talks to sign Dutch playmaker Van der Vaart.
Van der Vaart, 31, left Tottenham for the Bundesliga two years ago after a two-season spell at the Lane and Redknapp believes he can provide Rangers with added flair as they return to the top flight following their Championship play-off victory.
