QPR boss Harry Redknapp expects to see a desperate Loic Remy on debut today.

Remy is in line to make his debut for Rangers today against West Ham United and Redknapp has made sure his new signing knows what is at stake this season.

He said: "I told him that it was an exciting project here but we are bottom of the league and that it would be a real battle.

"But it could be a great achievement and that if he wanted to come and have a go, then he should take the challenge on.

"Then the chairman dealt with it. I think Loic met him and liked the way he was and felt that we are nice people here."
