QPR boss Redknapp readying himself for Southampton gauntlet

QPR boss Harry Redknapp expects pelters from Southampton fans at St Mary's.

Redknapp is ready to take the flak.

He said: "I had a great time there. I stayed there in the Championship and gave Theo Walcott his debut at Leeds and then I got a call asking me to go back to Portsmouth.

"You make decisions and you get on with it. I don't regret it.

"I took a gamble because if Portsmouth had got relegated I would have been finished. But I managed to keep them up, somehow.

"I'm sure I'll get some stick but I expect that. Southampton people are not horrible. It is a great club."
