QPR boss Harry Redknapp is ready to send an SOS to Chelsea veteran Frank Lampard.
The Daily Star says he is poised to accept Redknapp's offer of a two-and-a-half year deal if he is snubbed by Chelsea again tomorrow.
Lampard would also be handed the captain's armband if he agrees to join his uncle at QPR next month. He has not made a final decision about his future, although he has accepted he will not get a new contract from the Blues when his current deal expires in June.
But the Redknapp offer to join in the January transfer window could look far more inviting tomorrow if Chelsea boss Rafa Benitez does not pick him in his starting XI for the Club World Cup Final against Corinthians.
