QPR boss Harry Redknapp is being linked with a shock return to West Ham United.
The Daily Star says Redknapp has emerged as a shock contender to replace Sam Allardyce as West Ham manager.
The Hammers' joint-chairmen, David Gold and David Sullivan, are backing Allardyce and gave their boss a vote of confidence yesterday.
But they also know angry fans are cranking up the pressure - and they may be forced to act if Allardyce can't turn things around soon.
QPR boss Redknapp is the shock name in the frame to succeed him if he is sacked.
