QPR boss Harry Redknapp is a big fan of Wigan Athletic chairman Dave Whelan.

Redknapp says Whelan deserves great credit for what he's achieved with the Latics.

"I am big fan of Dave Whelan," he said. "He's an ex-footballer who built a successful business and he runs a club that do fantastically well without having big sums of money to spend. People like Dave deserve all the credit in the world."
