Harry Redknapp was full of compliments for Adel Taarabt after QPR beat Chelsea 1-0 on Wednesday night.
The Moroccan playmaker, who supplied the 78th-minute winner for Shaun Wright-Phillips, was deployed up front by himself as the R's recorded a rare away victory and his performance was not lost on Redknapp.
"I pulled him over yesterday and told him I'd play him up front," Redknapp told Sky Sports. "I told him to hold the ball up and wait for us to join him.
"We worked on it for a couple of hours in training. It was a gamble really but the shape was good. I'm not even sure if he's played up front before."
