QPR boss Harry Redknapp admits he's omitted Rio Ferdinand on form for the past two games.
Redknapp spoke this morning about the defender and his three-match ban for comments made on Twitter.
The manager also spoke of Ferdinand's playing situation:
"Rio understands there is competition for his place. He is out on the training ground first every day, he is vocal in the dressing room. He is a top guy and understands that he has to wait his turn."
On social media use, Redknapp added: "As far as I see it a personal thing rather than something that should affect a club.
"I don't know what Twitter is, I don't want to know to honest. It doesn't interest me one little bit. If I understood it I might be able to talk about it."
