QPR boss Harry Redknapp is keeping tabs on Michael Carrick's situation at Manchester United.

The Mail on Sunday says Redknapp is keen on taking on Rio Ferdinand - who last week turned down a move to Aston Villa - and possibly Carrick from Manchester United in what could be termed 'West Ham re-United'.

Departing Chelsea icon Frank Lampard is also on the Rs' radar.
