QPR boss Redknapp expects Newcastle to stick with Pardew

QPR boss Harry Redknapp has sympathy for Alan Pardew over his battles at Newcastle United.

Redknapp backed Pardew to turn the club around and believes he has been the victim of two very contrasting seasons.

The 66-year-old said: "I'm sure Newcastle will come back strong. Alan did a great job last year and overachieved, but underachieved this year. Injuries have affected them, but I'm sure next year they will come back and be strong again."
