QPR boss Redknapp delighted with arrival of Liverpool fullback Robinson

QPR boss Harry Redknapp is delighted with their swoop for Liverpool fullback Jack Robinson.

Robinson has made 11 appearances for Liverpool but, with manager Brendan Rodgers having numerous full-back options, he has decided to move on.

"Jack is one for the future. He's a good young player," Redknapp said.

"He'll continue his development at Huddersfield this season in the Championship, where I'm sure he'll do well."

Robinson added: "It was an easy decision for me to come here for a new challenge.

"Hopefully I can do well here and establish myself as a Premier League player in the future."

"The loan spell at Huddersfield will no doubt serve me well for my future at QPR - I definitely need another season of games under my belt."
