QPR boss Redknapp defends Fergie over Dean stoush

QPR boss Harry Redknapp had no problem with Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson's confrontation of ref Mike Dean.

Redknapp has been asked by the FA to explain his own comments after ref Chris Foy awarded West Brom a goal in his side's 2-1 Boxing Day defeat - despite a foul on Rob Green.

And he reckons Manchester United chief Fergie was simply frustrated.

Redknapp said: "Good luck to Alex. I don't want to see anyone get charged.

"You get frustrated, we all do, it is very difficult."
