QPR boss Harry Redknapp has confirmed he's keen to sign Toronto FC striker Jermain Defoe.
QPR have lined up a three-year deal worth around £90,000 a week and hope the former England striker, who is at FC Toronto, gets the goals to fire the club to Premier League safety.
"We tried to get Jermain before the deadline," said the QPR boss. "I'm a big fan, he's a goal scorer and someone you would want at your club. He's a player I'm sure we'd be interested in come January."
