QPR boss Redknapp: Chelsea captain Terry will have no shortage of offers

QPR boss Harry Redknapp says there'll be no shortage of clubs happy to take John Terry off Chelsea's hands.

Redknapp wrote in The Sun: "John Terry is not everyone's cup of tea - but they don't make 'em like him any longer and more's the pity.

"And whatever the popular opinion about Terry, if Chelsea suddenly decided to get rid of him you can bet your bottom dollar there would be a queue of clubs as long as your arm waiting to take him on.

"I'd have him at QPR without hesitation.

"He is still one of the two best English centre-halves we have and, at 32, still has four or five good years left in him, no question.

"I was talking to West Ham boss Sam Allardyce about him only this week, funnily enough, and Big Sam says he would love him at the Hammers.

"John belongs to a bygone era as a captain.

"He is probably second only to Tony Adams in terms of his worth and service to his club as the skipper."
