QPR boss Harry Redknapp has scoffed at Adel Taarabt's claims he's in shape.
Redknapp hit out at Taarabt following Sunday's 3-2 home defeat by Liverpool - which left Rangers rooted to the bottom of the Premier League, claiming the player was three stone overweight and had all but downed tools for the club.
Taarabt hit back posing for a picture which showed he was not tubby, and himself criticising his manager, saying he did next to no coaching and spent most of his time in his office.
Redknapp responded by saying: "The only reason he has lost weight is because he has had tonsillitis, that's the only way we could get any weight off of him.
"He is not fit to play a game, that's the truth.
"He is the worst professional I have ever come across. Even I could suck my stomach in for a picture and look OK."
