QPR boss Harry Redknapp is confident Charlie Austin will be no one-season wonder.
Redknapp reckons Austin will not be a flash in the pan.
He said: "Charlie knows he needs to keep improving - he's not the finished article yet. He needs to keep putting a shift in on the pitch like he does, be a nuisance to defenders and keep grabbing his goals.
"He's a Johnny on the spot at the moment and I think he can do it for more than one season, for sure.
"He's mobile and is a handful. He's been scoring some great goals in training as well. You can see the confidence in him now.
"He's a smashing lad and if you had a club full of Charlie Austins it would be an easy job because he enjoys getting on with it.
"There are no problems with him - he's a really good boy. There's no one you wish to be successful more than Charlie."
