QPR boss Harry Redknapp hopes to sign defensive reinforcements this month.

Redknapp has insisted that despite a sensation rearguard display from his side, he will be making signings over the next month.

He told talkSPORT: "We still need to strengthen up. No doubt about that. The two centre-halves [Ryan Nelsen and Clint Hill] have done miracles. I think they're both 35 years of age.

"There is not a lot of depth [in the squad]. I had to play Adel Taarabt up front tonight."
