QPR boss Chris Ramsey has named Robert Green his player of the season.

Green was between the posts for defeat at Crystal Palace.

"I think Rob's been outstanding," said the Rs coach. "He's pulled us out of the fire especially the beginning of the season.

"Without him I don't think we'd be anywhere near where we are. He's been absolutely fantastic in the way he's performed.

"What have we got? 22 points? He must be worth nine of them, easily, with some of his saves.

"He's been the player of the season so far."
