QPR boss Ramsey concedes Newcastle, Crystal Palace target Austin likely to leave

QPR boss Chris Ramsey says Charlie Austin is likely to be sold in January.

Austin remains a target for Newcastle United and Crystal Palace.

Ramsey said: “We will see where we are in January and if the success is going the way we want it to go.

“Everyone has their price. Whatever happens, we have to do what's best for QPR. If selling Charlie at that time is the right thing for QPR, then I'm sure the owners will make that decision at the time.

“We are in a financial situation that we need to address and Charlie as an individual has a dream of playing at Euro 2016. If Charlie performs as he has been the last few games, then I'm sure a Premier League club of his liking will come in for him."
