QPR boss Mark Hughes will not be naming Joey Barton in his Premier League squad.
The Sunday Mirror says Hughes will omit last year's captain Joey Barton from the 25-man squad list he will submit to the Premier League for the first half of the season.
The bad-boy midfielder was hit with a 12-game ban after he was sent off at Manchester City on the final day of the last campaign and found guilty on two counts of violent conduct by the FA.
Barton has already been given a final warning as to his future behaviour by the club but whether he will play again remains to be seen.
