QPR boss Hughes: We made bid for Wigan's Rodallega
QPR boss Mark Hughes is pushing to make a striker signing today.
Hughes revealed his hunt for a striker saw QPR make a bid for Hugo Rodallega, although that was rejected by Wigan.
"We've been linked with a lot of players, to be honest," the Welshman said when asked about a reported £4million offer.
"We made a bid over a week ago but we have not returned since.
"We would have to revisit it if we felt he was the right one for us. At the moment we put in an offer that we felt was at the right level and we got knocked back so we haven't been back since."
