QPR boss Hughes: Twitter break good for Barton

QPR boss Mark Hughes was delighted with Joey Barton's performance in victory over Swansea City.

Hughes feels Barton has benefited from a Twitter sabbatical.

He said: "I thought Joey was excellent, he was fresh and raring to go. 'Has his decision to stop tweeting helped his form? Maybe. It certainly has not done him any harm. It was important we got maximum points tonight and anything else would have been a disappointment."
