QPR boss Hughes moving for Tottenham veteran Gallas

QPR boss Mark Hughes is pushing to land Tottenham defender William Gallas.

The Sunday Mirror says Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas will allow the Frenchman to leave as he puts his stamp on White Hart Lane.

'Sparky' Hughes is continuing his own rebuilding job, and sees the 34-year-old adding vital experience to his back four.

If a deal can be struck, Rangers will become the fourth London club of Gallas' career.

He spent five years at Chelsea and four at Arsenal before his switch to Tottenham two years ago.
