QPR boss Mark Hughes won't shut the door on more signings being made this week.

Hughes has been linked with moves for Tottenham defender Michael Dawson and Real Madrid's Ricardo Carvalho.

"There may be opportunities before the window closes where we once again have the opportunity to bring good quality players in," Hughes said.

"But you have to wait and see. Sometimes you can do good deals right at the end of the window. On other occasions deals that you have set your heart on to conclude don't get done."
