QPR boss Mark Hughes says his experiences at Manchester City should prepare him well for what lies ahead at Loftus Road.
Roberto Mancini was appointed to succeed him behind his back - a move Hughes once described as "disrespectful" - but now he is the man the new owners have chosen as their own.
Hughes said: "Maybe that (City) experience will help me and I am sure it will.
"In fairness, probably I made mistakes with respect to the new owners last time. I understand that now. So I can learn from that and I am a better manager now than when I first went through that.
"I'm happy with the structure here, and that will be more beneficial to me. The owners are passionate about what they are trying to do here and they are very accessible."
