QPR boss Hughes happy for Barton to keep tweeting

QPR boss Mark Hughes has no problem with Joey Barton continuing to wind people up on Twitter.

QPR face fellow strugglers Wolves at Loftus Road this afternoon with skipper Barton getting the go-ahead to continue using Twitter.

Boss Hughes said: "Twitter is part of people's lives. It obviously wasn't when I was young and impressionable and wanted to engage with things. But it is now.

"Joey enjoys using Twitter and is very articulate on it. He also enjoys the response he gets on Twitter."
