QPR boss Mark Hughes was delighted with victory over Tottenham last night.
Hughes praised the performance of Adel Taarabt after the precocious midfielder scored a vital free-kick to secure a 1-0 win over Tottenham and move his side a step closer to Barclays Premier League survival.
The 22-year-old moved to Loftus Road from Tottenham in 2010 and Hughes was delighted with his performance before his dismissal in the 78th minute.
He said: "(It was) a great goal from Adel and he showed his ability once again. I thought as a performance he was really disciplined in his approach to his defensive role.
"He knew it was a key element of what we were tying to do today in terms of tracking the runs of (Kyle) Walker and he did it really well, it doesn't come naturally to him but he did it."
