QPR boss Hughes expects busy transfer deadline day

QPR boss Mark Hughes expects a busy transfer deadline day.

Hughes said on Monday he is content with the club's January work so far and is hopeful of more signings to come.

"We are reasonably happy with the business we have done up until now," he said.

"We are hopeful of doing a little bit more before the window closes but, as with all of these things, you never know until the window closes how many of your targets you will complete on.

"Some seem to move very, very quickly and others take a huge amount of time and effort to get over the line.

"We are involved in a number of those types of deals so we will just have to wait and see.

"We are pleased with how we have done up until this point and hopefully we can continue in the same vein."
