QPR boss Mark Hughes is ready to continue buying this summer.

Andrew Johnson, Ryan Nelsen and England international Rob Green have all signed at Loftus Road this past week.

Hughes told his club's official website: "We were a little bit naive away from home last season.

"I've obviously worked with AJ and Ryan before and I know they are two calming influences, with great leadership skills and quality, too.

"Rob is vastly experienced as well - with international pedigree.

"I'm sure we'll see other players at the other end of the age scale arriving at the club over the coming weeks. But it was vitally important we added some experience to the group this summer."
