QPR boss Mark Hughes is determined to find a new centre-half this week.
The Daily Mail says Hughes is keen to bring in a centre back after watching Barcelona's Andreu Fontas, 22, and Kurt Zouma of St Etienne.
QPR are also monitoring Tottenham defender Michael Dawson, 28, who was left out of Saturday's defeat at Newcastle United.
