QPR boss Mark Hughes feels he's found the key to unlocking the best from Adel Taarabt.
Taarabt has been in stunning form this season despite QPR's troubles. He was linked with a switch to Arsenal this week, having scored two goals already this term - matching his total for the whole of last season.
Young Hughes reckons Taarabt, 23 was given too much leeway to do his own thing by predecessor Neil Warnock last term.
He said: "Adel will tell you that he was probably indulged a little bit too much.
"He was still a young player but you could understand why because at Championship level he could win games on his own.
"Coming into the Premier League it's a different standard and you need to be able to put in the work to be successful. He understands that now. You need players in the Premier League who can unpick the lock when it's tight and we have that in Adel."
