QPR boss Hughes confident landing Fulham striker AJ

QPR boss Mark Hughes is closing in on off contract Fulham striker Andy Johnson.

The Daily Mail says QPR manager Mark Hughes has a decent budget for a striker but 31-year-old Johnson is on a free and a player he knows well.

He worked well alongside Bobby Zamora and guarantees goals. That resembles good business as QPR look to break into the top ten.
