QPR boss Hughes brands England manager search "charade"

QPR boss Mark Hughes has slammed the FA's search for a new England manager.

Hughes reckons Wembley bigwigs should stop wasting everybody's time and just offer the job to Harry Redknapp.

FA chiefs will meet today to draw up a shortlist of candidates to succeed Fabio Capello.

But former Wales boss Hughes said: "The FA will go through the process and the possible charade of drawing up a shortlist.

"In my mind there is only one man for the job."
