QPR boss Mark Hughes feels Andre Villas-Boas is the right manager for Tottenham.
Despite that slow start, Hughes expects the former Chelsea boss to be more of a success in north London than he was at Stamford Bridge last season.
Hughes said: "He didn't have the best of times at Chelsea but I don't think that affected his CV in too much of a detrimental way.
"Now he's got another great opportunity with a good squad that he has made some good additions to.
"There has been a big turnover in terms of players but he has replaced those who have left with new players of the same level.
"I'm sure he'll look back at how things went and look at what he can do differently.
"Maybe he will learn from the things that happened at Chelsea."
