QPR boss Mark Hughes has again defended skipper Joey Barton after he was jeered by fans during victory over Liverpool.
Hughes defended his captain and praised his reaction to the team winning without him.
He said: "There was some criticism of Joey, he's big enough to take that on his shoulders.
"I made the change because Joey wasn't having the best of evenings. We came through it and you saw Joey's reaction after the game.
"He was delighted for the boys and everyone is together in this fight."
