QPR boss John Gregory is excited about the loan signing of Chelsea striker Ben Sahar.

Gregory told Rangers' official website: "Although he has got full caps for the national team and has made first-team appearances for Chelsea in the Premier League, it will still be a big step up for Ben to become a regular player in the Championship.

"But we firmly believe it is a step up he is more than capable of achieving.

"It is exciting to have someone of Ben's undoubted potential being part of our set-up for the new season.

"I use the word 'potential' because Ben has still got his whole career in front of him at the moment."
