QPR are chasing Wigan Athletic defender Fitz Hall.

The R's are bidding to sign Hall from Wigan in a £1.2million deal when the transfer window opens, says the Mirror.

The Italian-backed outfit have beaten off opposition from Norwich and Coventry, and expect to tie up the deal soon. Hall joined Wigan from Crystal Palace for £3m last season but he has hardly played this term and is available in a major overhaul at the JJB.
