QPR are battling West Bromwich Albion for Birmingham City goalkeeper Ben Foster.
Rs boss Mark Hughes sees Foster as a replacement for Paddy Kenny, who is wanted by Leeds United.
Foster spent last season on-loan at Albion, but Brum's initial asking price is putting them off.
