The race for New York Red Bulls attacker Tim Cahill is heating up.

The Daily Mail says Sunderland and QPR are among the clubs showing interest in New York Red Bulls midfielder Cahill.

The Australian, 33, is ready to return to England on a two-month loan and had been hopeful of joining former club Everton.

Manager David Moyes said: "We have not made a decision yet but, if you are asking today, it wouldn't be what we are doing."
