QPR backer Kamarudin not in town regarding Hughes future - Beard

QPR chief executive Philip Beard insists that club backer Din Kamarudin is not in London to discuss the future of manager Mark Hughes.

The Welshman is under fire following the Super Hoops' horrible start to the Premier League campaign which sees them sitting on the bottom of the table, four points behind their nearest rivals.

Malaysian investor Kamarudin is in London but Beard says it is only to check in ahead of the weekend's clash with Manchester United and not to bring about the potential demise of Hughes.

"We've got shareholders and when they come to town they come to the training ground. Din's here for the game on Saturday and is looking forward to it, so preparations are going well," Beard told Sky Sports News.

"We are working really hard and we want to turn this season around. It's important we do it for the fans."
