QPR attacker Jamie Mackie admits beating their relegation rivals is their only hope of staying up.

QPR face a massive six-pointer at Southampton on Saturday before games against Sunderland, Aston Villa, Fulham and Wigan.

"The teams in and around us are more important," he said.

"They're the ones we hope to claw back - that's the only hope we've got. At the end of the day it's up to us. We've got games we've got to win, and if we don't we deserve to go down."
